Hyatt Wins Travel + Leisure’s “Smitty” Award for Best Social Media Customer Service

CaptureEach year, in recent years, Travel + Leisure has awarded hoteliers, convention & visitor’s bureaus, airlines, and other travel & tourism industry professionals with their social media Smitty Awards.  The Smitty Awards cover a range of categories in social media such as Best Use of Facebook, Best Contest/Giveaway, and Best Airline.  Judges included a wide array of travel and industry experts including Mike De Jesus and even Al Roker!

For 2014, Hyatt was honored with the award of Best Social Media Customer Service.  Not only do our individual Hyatt properties have Twitter accounts providing customer service, such as ours @HyattMcCormick, but Hyatt also employs a staff of more than 30 to answer questions for all Hyatt guests world-wide, 24/7 on the @HyattConcierge account.  See the full list of award winners here.
